katie and i picture hunting

Katie, my raddest most favorite sister and i hiked up Mann creek res on a picture hunt. (we won!) aren't these gorgeous!!! more about my sis below!

Katie leaves on her mission next week. I couldn't be more proud of her. i was looking at her the other day and thinking "she doesn't look as old as she is!" and it hit me ~ she grew up! weird, right? yeah! But she is such a strong girl, and so gorgeous, and happy, and smart and wonderful. i am so glad she is my sis. good luck Katie. pray lots, keep god close and serve with your whole heart!

I got to demo this lens for Elaine and Justins wedding and of course fell in love with it! the ability to control your f stop all the way zoomed in is fantastic! look at these sharp images!!! wow, i want to buy that les yesterday! and on top of this fantastic lens this was the weddin gi have been anticipating for the last few months! My favorite moment was watching Elaine dance with her dad when it was thought before he wouldn't even be there for her wedding! here is my favorite picture from the wedding...
I was so thankful that i met them, learned Marks story and was moved to help! her wedding was fantastic and all their vendors did an outstanding job! thanks to everyone who donated services to let Elaines dream happen!

I shot her mommy and daddy's wedding 2 years ago! it was great to be able to shoot thier first baby together! I cant wait to take pictures of Jillian with her big sister and big brother! :)

here is mine:

1 I am a mother, wife, friend, photographer, humanitarian, latter day saint, lover, cultural human and child of god.

2 I am not defined by my country, my clothes, my house, the contents of my wallet or any other material thing or world organization.

3 I am Lindy.

In Laue of this challenge i have started making self portraits that i feel can show how i feel that week. this is one that i set up last week. i will share some of them as i take them!
